Soil Stabilization in San Antonio
Remedies for Clay Soils (Expansive Soils)
Injection has proven to be the most effective means to treat soils with high plasticity. There are three injection methods commonly used today: Chemical Injection, Lime Injection, and Water Injection. Chemical injection with Earthlok is superior to the other methods because it is permanent. The chemical creates an ionic exchange that changes the molecular structure of the soil. The change of structure then disallows the absorption of water. Since Earthlok is independent of moisture levels – the injection process can be completed up to 50% faster than the other injection methods – this saves time and money! Finally. Earthlok has been specifically formulated to be eco-friendly and uses up to 50% less water than other methods.

Why Earthlok is A Superior Product
Results
Soils treated with Earthlok consistently yield back results of less than 2% swelling and often times less than 1%.
Eco-Friendly
Earthlok has been specifically designed not to harm the environment. Most other soil stabilization chemicals include Naphthalene Sulfonates as dispersant for the chemical. Naphthalene in larger quantities can be hazardous to the environment and to individuals who are exposed to it. At its inception, Earthlok has been designed without Naphthalene or any other hazardous chemicals.
Safe To Use
The safety of those regularly working with the chemical is also a high priority for Earthlok. Unlike other chemicals, if Earthlok comes in contact with the skin it will not burn. The person can simply wash exposed area with soap and water.
